In 1961, the first industrial robot went to work on an assembly line building cars. Since then, robots have been helping us in many different areas. From building cars to performing surgery, we rely on them to make our jobs easier and safer. And, we continue to find new uses for them.
NASA is no exception.
In order to live and work in space, people will need robots for many tasks.
