Honeybee Robotics Opens Pasadena Office

New York, NY – August 19, 2010 -- Honeybee Robotics Spacecraft Mechanisms Corporation is pleased to announce the opening of its Pasadena office. “The opening of this facility will allow us to work even more closely with our customers at JPL,” said Stephen Gorevan, Honeybee’s Chairman, “as well as our clients throughout California and the Southwest.”

The new facility, located at 398 West Washington Blvd, Suite 200 (tel. 626 389 8459), is headed by the Director of Honeybee’s Drilling and Excavation Program, Dr. Kris Zacny. The 4500-square foot space features a small machine shop, an assembly, integration and test area, as well as our one-of-a-kind vacuum test chamber for drilling and excavation tasks. The 11-foot chamber offers unparalleled ability to test drilling and penetration systems in a relevant environment up to 3 meters depth. The chamber may also be used in a horizontal configuration to perform excavation tasks from mobile platforms.
