Honeybees in Antarctica Testing Mars Drill

Honeybee Robotics' IceBite drill team is in Antarctica this month testing a new drill for use on a possible future mission to Mars. IceBite is a rotary-percussive drill that can operate in Mars conditions without traditional lubrication. So far the drill has autonomously reached 25cm into the permafrost.
