Honeybee Robotics' DrillCam is an arm-mounted tool for providing remote visual access to vehicles and other enclosed spaces. The DrillCam can perform multiple penetrations and peeks on the same vehicle without needing operator intervention. This technology addresses the issue of being able to view inside a suspect vehicle from a safe area.
- Look and look again. Perform multiple peeks into enclosed or difficult-to-access areas without disturbing the container.
- Use commercially-available bits. Standard ½” chuck accepts COTS drill bits for metal, wood, masonry, etc.
- Access gently. The drill doesn’t rely on robot’s momentum to penetrate a surface. There is no need get a running start to get through a container.
