Honeybee Robotics has been developing actuators for demanding space environments for over 25 years. These efforts have led to the development of technologies such as our Cryo Gear-Bearing and patented High-Temperature Motor, and more recently have culminated in Honeybee’s P-35 Rotary Actuator. This actuator uses a hybrid stepper motor and integrated harmonic drive to generate more torque in a smaller volume than other products in the same class, and in fact was designed to be a higher-performing drop-in replacement for several of those competing products. Several sizes and configurations are available with a range of output step sizes.
